In 1950, Eugene H. Rosebush was employed by Northern Electric (now Nortel) as a welder. Using his welding skills, Eugene fabricated his first tank truck. By building the 1200 gallon tank from scratch and fastening it to an old truck, Rosebush Fuels was born.
During the day, while her husband was working for Northern Electric, Mrs. Phyllis Rosebush handled all of the fledgling company’s fuel oil calls. When Eugene returned home from work, he began his second job – delivering Rosebush home heating oil to residential customers well into the night.
