Quinte Search & Rescue Fundraiser BBQ

Everyone in the Quinte area is invited to show their support for the all volunteer Quinte Search and Rescue Unit on Sunday, August 5th. The Annual Fundraiser BBQ, featuring the products of Gilmour’s Meat Shop and Deli in Rossmore, is being held at Rossmore Square at the south end of the Bay Bridge. The event opens at 9.30 and will also feature prize draws and musical entertainment by The Real Disc Joshy. Quinte Search and Rescue, part of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, has been assisting boaters in the area for 40 years with the support of local municipalities and service clubs as the main sources of funds. Boaters are not charged for assistance provided by QSAR. So, grab a burger or a dog and do your part toward promotion and maintenance of marine safety in Quinte waters this coming Sunday the 5th. All funds raised will go towards equipment and operational requirements.
