PUBLIC INFORMATION OPEN HOUSE Delhi Park – Stormwater Outfall Remediation Town of Picton, Prince Edward County DATE: Thursday, January 26, 2017 LOCATION: Elks Hall, 21 Elks Street, Picton K0K 2T0 TIME: 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm A Public Information Centre will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 to discuss proposed improvements to the two Delhi Park Stormwater Outfalls. The project aims to improve water quality using conventional approaches to treat the stormwater – which currently drains, untreated, directly into Marsh Creek and then to Picton Bay (Bay of Quinte). The project is a cooperative effort between Environment Canada’s Great Lakes Sustainability Fund, Ministry of the Environment’s Canada-Ontario Agreement for the Great Lakes, The County of Prince Edward, and Quinte Conservation Authority. The format will be ‘Open House’ and you are invited to drop in anytime between 2pm and 4pm or 6pm and 8pm. Information boards will be on display and representatives from Quinte Conservation will be available to answer questions and provide information.
