On Monday, October 19, 2015, Canadians will go to the polls.
Now, more than ever, Canada needs a strong business community, and our elected representatives need to hear from businesses large and small!
That is why we are inviting all Belleville Chamber of Commerce members as well as the general public to attend the Bay of Quinte Candidates Debate, moderated by CJBQ's Lorne Brooker, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 7pm at The Empire Theatre.
This event will provide you with an opportunity to hear from the candidates in our riding - one of whom will be representing this constituency in Canada's next Parliament.
We are also inviting all members to submit debate questions to the Chamber by noon, Monday August 31 for consideration by the Government Affairs committee. This is a great opportunity for our future M.P. to hear from our business leaders and citizens the issues they feel matter to a strong and vibrant community. Questions may also be submitted in writing the evening of debate prior to the 7pm start.
