This event brings together four inspiring local women entrepreneurs to share their real-world experiences of navigating the ever-changing tides of business. Through themes like looking at the big picture, finding safe harbours, directions for success, and sharing business resources, this event will highlight the challenges, opportunities, and strategies that come with leading in uncertain times.
From business and strategic planning to managing risk, spotting opportunities, and adapting to change, attendees will gain both validation—knowing they’re not alone—and motivation to try new approaches.
By hearing relatable success stories, women entrepreneurs will leave equipped with insights, resources, and renewed confidence to steer their own businesses forward with purpose.

SPEAKERS:
Dr. Shyra Barberstockan entrepreneur, scholar, speaker, and podcast host. She is the CEO and co-founder of Okwaho Equal Source Inc., an Indigenous-focused consultancy, and Kebaonish Inc., an Indigenous and woman-led tea and coffee company headquartered in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, Ontario.
Katrina MacDonald - 
 the Co-Founder and Brand Strategist at Kasama Marketing, where she helps owner-led businesses break through growth plateaus with strategy-first messaging that actually resonates. With a background in psychology and a gift for cutting through the noise, she brings clarity and confidence to every brand story.
Alexandra Feswick - Fawn Over Market / Co-Owner & Executive Chef -  a grocery and prepared food shop in Quinte West, Ontario, and a professional chef who has led the kitchens of notable restaurants in Toronto and Prince Edward County.
Rachel Yeager - 
Fawn Over Market / Co-Owner & Director of Marketing with over 20 years experience working in marketing and communications for respected Canadian organizations such as The Walrus Magazine, The Bishop Strachan School and Drake Hotel Properties, where she was the launch marketing manager for the Drake Devonshire. This was her formal introduction to professional networks in Prince Edward County and the Bay of Quinte, where she has been working on entrepreneurial ventures since 2018, most notably as co-founder of Fawn Over Market.
